World Cancer Day @ SABIS® - Adma
In honor of those constantly fighting a battle much larger than themselves, the SLO® Social Responsibility Department took on, once again, a new challenge - planning an opportunity to provide smiles on the faces of those within school and those all the way in Cancer centers. SABIS® International School - Adma celebrated World Cancer Day on February the 6th with bright ribbons ranging from pink (breast cancer) to purple (pancreatic cancer) to orange (kidney cancer) and more. A photo booth was present and a “Kiss Away Cancer” board was on site where students applied lipstick and imprinted it as a sign of compassion and love. The donation box was bombarded with giving hands that only wanted to help. Brochures with prevention tips were handed out, and a whole lot of awareness was spread.
