Shadow Teaching @SABIS^®-Adma!

@SABIS^®-Adma, Shadow Teaching is a unique opportunity for students to experience playing the role of a teacher. In addition to teaching his/her peers, being a shadow teacher provides a public speaking experience for the first time, which allows the student to grow, move past his/her fears, build confidence and see things from the teachers’ perspective. Shadow teaching is a very beneficial experience, and we are lucky to have it in our school (@SABIS^®-Adma). Tatiana Van Den Haute-10 IP

During shadow teaching week @SABIS^®-Adma, I was given the chance to see school differently. Those who to me were friends with talkative and funny attitudes in class now became young students, thirsty for knowledge. I felt the weight of a teacher’s responsibility on my shoulders, and experienced a professor’s passion for the transmission of wisdom. Spending a day, in my teacher’s shoes taught me to appreciate his/her hard work. After this experience, I am eagerly looking forward to the next teaching opportunity. Nabil Chedid-10S
