In order to show that academics are fun and exciting, enhance the students’ math skills while improving their team building activities, enrich the participants and audience’s knowledge whilst creating a competitive yet friendly and positive atmosphere, and help the participants develop essential time management skills, the Student Life Organization® held a Math Bee Competition for Grades 4 and 5 at the Charles Saad Performance hall from February 4 to February 10, 2015. All participants were excited about the competition and showed their math skills by solving “word problems” with their teams. It was so inspiring to see the students come together in a team to solve the questions. It was a very efficient learning experience and great fun!
At the end of the event all participants were given a Certificate of Participation, and gifts were distributed to the winning team. Finally, every single student walked out a winner that day!
