Expert Talks: Making the Most of Today’s Uncertainties

It is with great enthusiasm that we invite SIS-Adma community to our next Expert Talks online seminar. This episode of Expert Talks will be titled “Making the Most of Today's Uncertainties,” and will feature expert speaker, Dr. Simon Abou Jaoude.

The COVID-19 pandemic has introduced uncertainty into major aspects of our lives at the national level and at the family level. With COVID-19 causing widespread school closures, children are being given online resources causing them to step outside the classroom setting and parents are trying their best to adjust to this new challenging scenario.

These new and unprecedented educational challenges have been assailed in Lebanon by compounded crises, beginning with major economic downturn, job losses, widespread protests, the continuing tangible health threat posed by COVID-19 and lastly the explosion at the Port of Beirut.

At the event, we aim to help each other adapt to our changing environment, and overcome the challenges and stress posed by COVID-19 and Lebanon’s fragile state. We encourage all of you to join us at the event that will allow for open discussion, question and answer sessions, and more.
